New EPA Deal Lets Factory Farms Pollute Air without Restriction

New EPA Deal Lets Factory Farms Pollute Air without Restriction

Hey y'all listen to this...it SUCKS!!

The day after the inauguration, January 21, the Bush Administrationsigned an agreement that allows factory farms to freely violate any andall clean air standards for the next two years, and forgives these samecompanies from paying fines for past air pollution violations.

In exchange for the freedom to pollute without any restrictions, thedeal "requests" that factory farms agree to monitor their air pollutionand provide that data to the government.

This "Dirty Air" agreement isoutrageous, given that the Clean Air Act already requires factory farmsto provide air pollution data, while also requiring facilities to adhereto clean air standards
